The Second Gulf War
Congress and President George W. Bush believed that the Universal Goods weighed out the Cons.
With Iraq's corrupt government they were not stable enough to be able to control Weapons of Mass Destruction. The US was protecting themselves, the rest of the world but mostly the Middle East from Iraq attacking.
The Second Gulf Was was not fought because of the oil in Kuwait anymore but more because of the agreements that were made to close the First Gulf War. The US was afraid that Iraq would begin to launch terrorist attacks on America and the Middle East. The US was very careful and wanted to stop all terrorist threats after the events of 9/11.
